Fall is upon us, even though you wouldn't know it from the weather here in New York. Nonetheless, I've always thought 70s singer-songwriter comps are the perfect companion for Fall late mornings and afternoons. So tonight, I give you Volume 4 in the Saluting Singer Songwriters series. I've also re-upped the previous volumes as well as the Sucking in the 70s compilations. Have at 'em!

This looks rather nice, I'm downloading it right now. Particularly good to see a couple of less familiar Charlie Rich tunes making the cut.
@Swede,
Peace on You is such a great song. Always thought it should be used at the end of a tv show for an episode where the perpetually wronged character finally tells off their nogoodnik partner.

Thanks again for another great post.I've never seen Billy Joe Shaver and Emitt Rhodes on a mix together before but they work together really well.Two great song writers whose work should be more well known (in my opinion anyway).Thanks again!
@anonymous,
Quite welcome. And you're that both Emitt and Billy Joe should both be better known.
