I posted several Carol Pierce related cds around this time last year. My choice of 1990s Austin-centric alt-country cds doesn't have a unifying theme this year, but they'r all out of print (and shouldn't be.) I'd also add that it's really a shame that Damon Bramblett never made another record, though I'm pretty sure he still plays fairly regularly around Austin. (And he's a dynamite live act.)

Many thanks for The Hollisters Ishka I am falling behind lol
Zephyr,
Glad to share the Hollisters (and hope you're caught up). I actually think they've back together for any folks in the Austin area reading this.

Huge thanks for the Damon Bramblett album, simply amazing, never heard of the guy.
I've collected albums for c:a 30 years (probably got 4000+ albums) and this may just be the best I've heard...
Farbror,
Glad to hear how much you like the Damon Bramblett album. He was even better live when I saw him at SXSW in 1998. I think someone said that he was raising his young son back then so he was never able to really devote himself to his music career. I'm pretty sure that he still plays around Austin on a pretty regular basis.
