Out of This World: A Freakwater Compilation

As I get older (and older), I've become increasingly impressed by artists that manage to put out albums that rival, or even surpass, their earlier work.  In the case of Freakwater, I still give a slight edge to
Feels  Like the Third Time over their 2016 release Scheherazade, but man, the latter, is a really good album and probably a more consistent effort.   And I'm still kicking myself for not going to see them on their tour for the album (I think I had a fairly legitimate reason, but still....)  Anyway, hope folks enjoy this compilation.

Jesus Year
Annabelle Lee
No Phone In Heaven
Walkin' Cane
Come All Ye Rolling Minstrels
The Asp and the Albatross
Family Tradition
Broken Hearted Lover

Many thanks for this great compliation of one of my favourite bands. I thought I'd heard just about everything of theirs but you've managed to prove me wrong! I still go back to Feels Like The Third Time more than any other album, but I agree about their consistency. It's just a shame that we have to wait so long between releases!

@Anonymous,

Quite welcome. As for the long time between releases, it is a tad frustrating, but I'm just glad they're still together after 30 years.

I love this band and had the honour to produce two shows with them long ago in my hometown in Bavaria - awesome

wh,

That's very cool about you producing their shows in Bavaria. Hope they are more appreciated in Europe than they are in the U.S.

best,
Ish
