On the Right Side of 2018

Another year almost in the books.  It's kind of been a blur and I don't have that much to say, owing, at least partly to a head cold I just got.  My rules are the same as they've been - no artist/bands who has been on a best of compilation the previous two years unless it's the artist's last album, like the great Charles Bradley.   So even though I really liked Lera Lynn's new album, I had to refrain from including a cut from it.  The only change in the format is that this year's compilation is now three volumes - just too much good stuff to leave off.  Hope everyone has a great 2019!

p.s. In case you're wondering, the raccoon in the picture climbed a 25 story skyscraper in Minneapolis.

Ashamed to say more than half of these songs are new to me, so thanks for the chance to check them out. And all the best for 2019.

Well, there's a bunch of artists on there that I hadn't heard of when the year started so you're in good company. All the best to you in 2019 as well.

Quite welcome! It's always fun putting together the end of the year compilation, even if I know I didn't get to hear a lot of the new releases.
