It's that time of year when I put together a road song compilation of some sort. Two years, it was a truck driving song comp so this year I decided to go for a train song (is there such a thing?) theme. There's a couple of songs that aren't necessarily about traveling by train, but I just couldn't bear to leave them off.

Ish, I have an old friend who was late to embrace digital. When he finally did, his first playlist was a 2 volume train compilation. I've been sending him train songs since then. iTunes told me this morning I was at 630 train songs. You had a few I already had but I'm at 647 now. It's an incredible rich mine to plunder. Thanks so much for these.
