On the Right Side of Christmas 2016

          I might be a day or two early, but with the cold spell we've had the last 4 days in the Northeast, it definitely feels like the holiday season so here's my annual compilation of Christmas music.  I've also uploaded all the previous Xmas comps for any newcomers to the blog.

   Late update: I fixed the problem with Al Green's Silent Night.  You do have to download the whole thing to get the working version of the file.

Richard HJ, Drew, and Farbror,

Quite welcome! Despite the stigma attached to "Christmas music", I'm always surprised, and impressed, by how many artists have recorded at least one Christmas tune.

"He's Stuck in the Chimney Again" is terrific. Written in 1966 but that version only released a couple of years back, it seems. Thank you!

@FurryBoots,

It is a really good version - shame Rachel Flotard's never gotten the accolades she deserves.

Looks like a good mix but "Silent Night" is staying - er - silent for me as it won't unzip after 3 dl attempts (CRC fails integrity test). Not to worry. Season's greetings to you & yours!

@dogbreath,

Thanks for letting me know the problem. Re-recorded the cd and re-upped it. And seasons greetings to you as well!!
