If you ever do another "late night driving" alt. country comp, might I suggest, "Things Don't Change" by The Reivers (aka. Zeitgeist) from their Translate Slowly album. It's one of my favorites for such a thing.

You know, I've always really liked that Reivers songs, but I think I've always associated it with the late 80s, not the 90s. Maybe I'll have to do an 80s/early 90s Austin comp now. :) (And it is "alt-country enough, as you say. :)
